A new month of challenges and wonderful releases is here! Have you seen Our Daily Bread Designs new release? It's just gorgeous and full of many, many new stamps and dies that I know you'll love. So today I am sharing a card I made with some of the new products for our Color Inspiration challenge.
I finished the card with many little stamped and die cut butterflies that I created with the new Butterfly & Bugs stamp set and Butterflies & Bugs dies.
I have a video for you below where I share a close-up to Our Daily Bread Designs May release and a sneak peek of a card I made with more new stamps and dies. I invite you to check it out:
I hope you enjoyed today's post! To see all the projects created for ODBDSLC237 or to join the challenge click here. You have until May 10, 2015 at 8:00pm EDT to join us. By participating in the challenge, you have a chance to win a $15 ODBD Gift Certificate good towards the purchase of stamps in the “stamps column” on the ODBD website, or to be spotlighted on the ODBD Blog at our next challenge. The random prize winner will be posted on our next challenge post.
I decided to use yellow, blue and green from the color board. I didn't know how my design would turn out because this are not my usual colors, but I am really happy with the result. I used two paper collections from ODBD: Rustic Beauty and Blushing Rose.
The handmade flowers were made with the new Birds and Nest dies set, that includes two different flower dies. I will be sharing a video tutorial on how to make flowers with this set tomorrow, so stay tuned. I finished the flower bouquet with flourishes and leaves die cut with the Fancy Foliage set.
I used the beautiful Quatrefoil Pattern die, cutting it roughly to give the card a mixed media feel. I colored the patterned die cut with Yellow Gold Inka Gold and then with Antique Linen paint. I also used the coordinating Quatrefoil Design die as a label for the sentiment. This beautiful sentiment is also from another new stamp set called Belle Vignes.
