Time has gone by so fast and I can't believe this is my last post for Cardabilities . It has been a pleasure to work with such amazing and talented designers. Hello! I'm feeling extra inspired today since we just came back from a fabulous vacation, surprise vacation that coincided with our wedding anniversary and happened to be in the very same place we were as newly weds, The Bay Islands. And no, it wasn't planned! Seems like my first card for CCNS (here) inspired on the islands' beaches brought me good luck and attracted this unexpected blessing! Today I have a card to share with you inspired on our challenge for this week: Use Gingham. This time I went for a pretty monochromatic card, with lots of pink and cuteness.  I used Spellbinders dies to make my card. I started off by printing my gingham patterned paper on White Pearl Linen which is my preferred texture for this task. I then die cut the main layer with A2 Matting Basics A. Hello everyone! Today I'm excited to be here sharing my first card for House of Cards . Our challenge this month is "Add a Bow" . This week the vintage and shabby team is showcasing their beautiful creations. I went for a floral, soft, shabby thank you card with lots of layers. I used papers from my recent set Keys & Roses combined with textured cardstock in soft pink, sand beige and white. I used a lot of Spellbinders dies. I layered four different labels for my focal point. The top label is actually and oval adhered to a Damask Motifs die that I cut in half. I stenciled the oval and stamped and heat embossed on it a Spanish sentiment in gold.  I decorated the card with lace and pink gross grain ribbon and added two bows (one made of ribbon and another made of tulle) layered one over the other to finish the design. Hello and welcome to a new inspiration post for Classy Cards 'n Such . Our challenge this week is to use Buttons and Bows in our cards. Today I'd like to share a card that represents very much my approach to the classy and elegant cardmaking style. I enjoy to combine colors with white to create contrast, and today is no exception... Lilac and white combined always result, from my point of view, in a very elegant design. For this creation I used Spellbinders dies. I started off as always with my indispensable A2 Matting Basics A . I used the largest die of this set to cut my card base and patterned layer. I like to print my digital designer papers in White Pearl Linen (it's one of my favorite cardstocks). The patterned layer was dry embossed with a M-Bossabilities folder , to add some interest and texture.  For the next layer I created a central column using the largest die from the A2 Filigree Delight set. A new weekly challenge is up at Hiding in my Craft Room: Christmas in July. Yes, once again we are challenged to make a Christmas card.  Our sponsor this week is:  Digi Digi Doodle I had the opportunity to use one of their fun Christmas images and I decided to make a background for my card... I edited the Christmas tree image to make it olive green and duplicated it to create this background. I printed it on white linen cardstock. I used Spellbinders dies to make this card. The patterned layer was die cut with A2 Matting Basics A. Before it was adhered to the card base I added three strips of old gold ribbon across it vertically. Then I die cut two olive green labels and one white label using Imperial Gold Labels Four, and layered them to create a focal point. I'm so delighted to announce that I have been invited to be part of Sin City Stamps design team. I'll be joining Donna (owner), Terri Sproul (head designer) and a group of talented artists in a new creative journey.  Sin City Stamps designs, presses and packages deep etched art rubber stamps. Hello and welcome to  Hiding in my Craft Room's blog hop! This week not only do we have a challenge but we also have a lot of blog candy to give away! Our challenge this week is called "Christmas in July"... A perfect opportunity to catch up on all the Christmas card making.  I wanted to make a nice, simple card, using traditional red, lime green and light brown. I like how nice this green looks against the red and how it matches the patterned paper, which is from one of my favorite Christmas sets from Shery K. Designs. I used leather, feuille and linen textured cardstocks. I embossed the red layer with a Cuttlebug folder and used a die from Spellbinders to cut the little deer. I find this die cut fits the design so very nicely! To finish the card I added gross grain ribbon in light brown and some small vynil stickers. Hello and welcome to a new post for Ewe-N-Me Printables ! As always, my mission is to inspire you to use your digital files in a creative, original way. Today, I'm using Bookmarks - Bring Flowers . I like the floral design these bookmarks have and I loved the fact that in the file you get when you purchase it, the bookmarks are next to each other, which makes this project really easy to make. I printed the file twice, scored as shown above and adhered one of the images to the back of the other. That way the floral images show in any direction one opens the card. To finish the design I added some ribbon, stamps, die cuts and fused string pearl beads on top, instead of the usual ribbon. I really hope you enjoyed this project! Hello! Welcome to my very first post for Classy Cards 'N Such . This week's challenge is called A Day at the Beach and who doesn't long for one this summer, right? Well, it certainly reminded me of the aquamarine beaches we have in Honduras, particularly in the Bay Islands... So I had to use this fresh color, combined with white and sand beige, to make my card.   I used Spellbinders dies to make my card. I created the card base and central frame, on the Diamonds Effects largest frame, die cutting with A2 Matting Basics A . Then, I decided I wanted to make a double frame for the seashell with White Pearl Linen , to make it stand out from the background. To make the double frame I die cut eight corners from the A2 Filigree Delight . I layered the first four with the filigree ends towards the inside, trying to achieve a square shape. Then I layered the other four with the filigree ends towards the outside, on top of the first frame. This results in a very elegan...
