Hello there! It's Gracie posting today and I'm glad to have the chance to share with you another card I designed using the beautiful and versatile products carried by Classy Cards 'n Such store. I created a shabby chic card with lots and lots of layers and elements. I started off die cutting two labels with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty Five. You can also get the same result using the classic Labels Twenty-Five , available at the store. I die cut one label from pink cardstock and another one from a digital floral patterned paper I designed, and that I printed on White Pearl Linen . The patterned label was also cut with a Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One, but I suggest you check out A2 Curved Borders One , which would work nicely too. I mounted the patterned piece on top of the pink label, aligning them perfectly. I added a piece of pink ribbon approximately across the middle of the layered label, vertically, hiding the ends behind the patterned piece

It's time to share a new card for this week's challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such: Candy Cane Christmas. We were challenged to make a Christmas project in red and white, and a touch of green! What a perfect, and contrasting color combination for the Holidays. The candy cane inspiration translates to my card through the die cut frame's border. I cut the frame with Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor to which I also die cut an inner window with A2 Matting Basics .  I like to layer dies from different sets a lot, to achieve new results every time, and I did just that. I die cut a label from the silver back of a Delicate Pastels Craft Foil by Spellbinders with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Thirty-Four. I die cut two coordinating labels from red and white cardstock using Fancy Label Tags Two. Hello, and welcome to my post for this month's challenge at House of Cards: Use a Punch and/or Die. It's time for us, the Vintage & Shabby team, to share our cards! I created a vintage card using some beautiful dies. I also worked with a color combination I haven't used in a while: peach, beige and green. The floral paper is the soul of this card. I actually used a digital paper I designed called Floral Frames 5 , printed on linen cardstock. I love how the vintage florals look! I layered three different labels on the side of the card and cut the edges remainding outside the card base. I embellished the card with 3/8" cream gross grain ribbon, pearls, crystals and a gold vintage button. Today I am sharing a card I made with some gorgeous products from Classy Cards 'n Such . It's an autumnal watercolored card, with a wonderful verse embossed on vellum. Watercoloring is very relaxing. I had not made a watercolored card in a while so I enjoyed making this card a lot! I started off by heat embossing in white some pears from Inky Antics' Holy Spirit's Fruit stamp set. I stamped the images trying to create an opened frame. Then I painted the pears with Faber Castell watercolor pencils. I usually don't color directly on the image, instead I color on a scrap piece of paper, and just pick up the colors with a wet brush, that way I don't leave pencil traces on my final image. I used various tones of greens and browns to achieve these shades. Once done, I went ahead and die cut the colored piece of cardstock with Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A . Hello and welcome to a new post for Sin City Stamps ! This month Sin City Stamps has partnered with Gelli Arts ! What a great combination of products! I've had a great time creating personalized backgrounds with Gelli Arts' Gel Plate, and adding details with SCS stamps. It's almost therapeutic the way the projects come together, and how we have no precise control of the resulting background using the Gel Plate (a truly spontaneous artistic process). Today I'm excited to share a card I made for this week's challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such: Fall Picnic . Of course, I used many crafty goodies from CCNS store to create my card, some lovely supplies I must add! To make this card, first I die cut my card base with Our Daily Bread Designs' Vintage Flourish Pattern, and then I die cut a window on it's front with the coordinating frame from the same set. I cut an inner layer that matched the size of the card base from White Pearl Linen . I printed a piece of plaid patterned digital paper on White Pearl Linen also, and adhered it covering one third of the inner layer, to work as a picnic blanket. I aligned the inner layer with the card base, marked the window outline on it and die cut it with the coordinating frame die. The frame that resulted was attached to the inside of the card, after I aged it with Distress Ink in Old Paper, with a Mini Ink Blending Tool. The other remainding part of the inner layer was att

Hello! I want to share a card I made using some lovely items from Classy Cards 'n Such store . It is a monochromatic square card in pink and white. To make this lovely card I die cut four square medallions with Spellbinders Damask Motifs from Stardream Rose Quartz metallic cardstock (sincerely, one of my favorite cardstocks). I added the medallions one next to the other to cover the front of the white card base. Next I added a piece of 3/8" gross grain ribbon across the middle of the card, vertically. I heat embossed a sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs Faith stamp set in Silver detail , on white cardstock. I die cut the sentiment using Spellbinders Adorning Squares and then I stenciled the resulting label with Ranger Distress Ink in Spun Sugar, using Ranger's Mini Ink Blending Tool . Thanksgiving was celebrated recently in Canada, but it's yet to be celebrated in the United States, so I still have time to share some crafty ideas for it. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving where I leave, but we used to do some abundant and fun dinners at the american school where I studied... Good old days! Today I have a card I made using a cute vintage collage from Ewe-N-Me Printables called Collage Sheet - Thanksgiving 102 . I used the image of the girl holding a mirror for the turkey that simply blew my mind... How adorable and vintage is that image! I made a card with lots and lots of layers and though this is a Fall card the color palette is very different. I picked the colors on the image for my card's color combination. I framed the image and made it the focal point of the card. I added a rosette, embellished with Fall leaves I die cut, colored with pigment and distress inks, and with Inkagold in yellow gold, to give them a nice shimmer. Other elements add

This week's challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such is Polka Dot Christmas ! There is an inspiration photo for you, and the colors from the photo I chose to work with were white, yellow (gold), and copper which appears on the red curtain's polka dots. As always we have a prize from the store for a lucky winner and the classiest participating card will be awarded too! For today's card I used Spellbinders 2012 Holiday Tree to die cut a window on a piece of White Pearl Linen, which I die cut next with A2 Matting Basics A. Then I dry embossed the white layer with a polka dot embossing folder, similar to Crafts-Too Dots embossing folder. I also die cut a piece of Precious Metals Craft Foil by Spellbinders in copper with A2 Matting Basics A, and dried embossed it the same way I did with the white layer. I mounted the white piece on top of the craft foil, but not before wrapping a piece of gold cording across them and tying a little bow. I adhered it all to a light brown c

Who doesn't love a 2 for 1 offer? Well, today I have a 2 in 1 project I made with a printable from Ewe-N-Me ! Basically I am talking about one single digital file that can be cut and used in many different ways. I made a card and an envelope from Gift Card Envelope - Holiday Kris 101 .  I printed the file twice, once on regular white bond paper and once on white cardstock. I cut the one printed on paper as it comes originally, to make my envelope. And then I cut the one printed on cardstock trimming all the flaps, so I was left with a note card. I did print the file for the note card slightly smaller so it would fit on the envelope. You can do this by simply adjusting the printing size to 95% (or smaller if you wish). These options pop up right before printing the pdf file. As you can see the note card will have a nice image on both sides, as well as the envelope. I really love how they look. Today I'm excited to share a project I made for Sin City Stamps in partnership with Gelli Arts , the makers of Gel Printing Plates. I created a stamped image with an amazing background, all in one layer! Many possibly know already what a Gelli Plate is, but in case you are not familiar with it I'll give you a brief intro. A Gel Printing Plate looks and feels like gelatin, but is durable, reusable and stores at room temperature. It's easy to clean and always ready for printing. Monoprinting on a Gelli plate is simple and fun. You can use it with acrylic or poster paints, and you may combine it with stencils, and masks. You can also create textures and patterns using a wide range of simple materials or tools. Once you press down your cardstock to the plate, you'll get a great background, which will result different every single time. Warning: It may be addictive! It's time for a new challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such: Let's make it Pink. October, as you know, is Breast Cancer Awareness month and this challenge is an opportunity to send our love, encouragement and words of hope to all of those ladies out there who have struggled or are struggling with this terrible disease today. I think now a days each of us knows someone who has battled breast cancer. Whether those loved ones lost or won their fight the most important thing is justly that, that they have fought for their lives. Please my friends, do your check-ups regularly because an early diagnose can certainly save your life! I lost one very dear "adoptive" aunt to breast cancer. She decided to hide the illness for years, even knowing one of her sons was a doctor (miss her). And as we speak an aunt in Brazil is battling cancer, her son too is a doctor (my cousin) and he is taking the best care of her. I have hope that she will make it... I pray she does! I
