I always find jewels, pearls and rhinestones add the perfect finishing touch to any card, even simple designs. Today's cards are the perfect example. Digital stamps can be used in so many ways! Today I used an image from my new stamp set Hope to create a lace motif background for my card front and even a coordinating layer for the inside of the card. Adding various textures and embellishments is an essential part of a shabby chic design. Today some dear friends from the papercrafting community have joined me to celebrate the relaunch of Graciellie Design’s Digital Shop . I am glad to let you know that starting today you can find new digital stamp sets on my shop designed for cardmaking, scrapbooking, journaling, mixed media and even home decor. Today I’m sharing a card using two of my ten new stamp sets: For my first card I printed and colored and sprayed with a shimmer mist the flowers on white cardstock and printed and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum to create a banner. The die cuts and colors framed the stamps nicely. For my second card I made the heart stamp the card's focal point printing and heat embossing it on vellum with gold glitter embossing powder. I also printed a sentiment on white cardstock and sprayed it with shimmer mist and created a little cluster with banners, hearts and other small embellishments.
