Textured Poinsettias
monochromatic christmas card

I finally had a chance to photograph my card for today! Between rainy days and some needed rest, at last I was able to spend a whole morning in my craft room. Christmas will be here before we know it and I love Poinsettias, so today I'm sharing a lovely clean and layered card with lots of different textures and elements! One of my favorite colors for Christmas cards is pool / aquamarine. I used at least 3 tones of white and used sand / beige too. I always find that silver metallic accents compliment cards beautifully when I use this color combination! To achieve the texture on my Poinsettias I used one of my favorite non-crafty supplies: shelf liner. This shape is a bit tricky to die cut on the liner because of the flower's tiny center... Sometimes the petals may separate but you can always adhere them back to the ensemble. The accents added included pearl stamens, craft metal and metallic cardstock die cuts, rhinestones and a word bead. The white column o

Fall Inspired Card
& quick tutorial with unity stamp co.

Fall might as well be my second favorite papercrafting season. The beautiful range of warm colors is just too irresistible and so today I'm sharing my first Fall card of the year. I have been having fun lately making cards with stamps from my collection released by Unity Stamp Company. Here are the stamp sets I used to create my card: Flutter Click here for details! Endure Click here for details!  Enjoy the Ride Click here for details! On this card I went for a striking clean and layered design with tones such as orange and green that contrast extraordinarily with the white background. I added several different layers and elements and added touches of gold and brown to complete the look of the card. If you'd like to achieve a similiar look on a card, the main steps to follow are: 1. Die cut branches/leaves from white cardstock and sponge with yellow and orange ink or any other colors desired. 2. Heat emboss leaves' ends in gold

Handmade Tea Box & Flowers
gift idea for teacher's day

This week we celebrate Teacher's Day where I live, I made a little something for my son's teacher. Something she can reach whenever she needs to relax after a long day... A tea box. I made the tea box using one of the exclusives digital files from my collection. I will be updating my digital shop here on the blog soon! I decorated the lovely box with many handmade flowers and delicate embellishments. I added a little square note that coordinates with the box's pattern, using one of my digital papers from the Keys & Roses set. I filled it with a variety of tea bags that hopefully will be enjoyed a lot. That is all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Until next time!

Layers & Layers
handmade card with unity stamp co.

Our family is starting a new stage, with my son entering kintergarden. With it comes a new routine that each of us needs to adapt to. I am spending much more time taking care of my loved ones and in consequence I haven't been around here much. Still I do take advantage of the few moments I have available to create a few things! Today I'm sharing a card with lots and lots of layers and delicate embellishments. The layers on this 5" by 7" card were cut from metallic, linen and leather textured cardstock. The inspiring verse stamp is from my new set Praise the Lord by Unity Stamp Company ( check it out here ). This verse has inspired me since I was very young, and I'm glad to have the chance to inspire others stamping it on a card. I also used one of the lovely patterned papers from my Keys & Roses digital set. I will be updating my digital shop here on the blog soon! Hope you enjoyed today's post! I would love to hear about you and your late
