Metal Flowers and a Tag

Hello again! I rarely do two posts the same day but I wanted to share with you a birthday card I made using Avery Elle stamps and dies, combined with some craft metal and other different materials, that ended up looking so well together. It is a simple and layered/freestyle collage card.

I added lots of little details around the circular window. The polka dot background is from a digital paper pack that I printed on linen cardstock. I added a 7/8" wide gross grain pink ribbon across the front of the card, vertically and started attaching all my embellishments on top of it.

I die cut the flowers from craft metal instead of paper. I used Add a Little Dazzle metal sheets in Pucker Me Pink and Princess Pink. I wanted the flowers to look as organic as possible so I creased and sanded them a bit. The tag was die cut from kraft corrugate paper. To finish the design I added a vellum banner that I heat embossed with a Happy Birthday sentiment.

I really enjoyed making this card. It's something unusual for the blog but if you follow me you know how much I enjoy cleaner designs too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
