Spritzed & Splattered with LOVE!

This week our challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such is: Letter It, in other words use a letter or more on your creation! I went ahead and used some letter stickers on my mixed media freestyle collage card! This is the first card I make with my new stamp set by SNSS, Parisian Postcard.

Main supplies
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Parisian Postcard
Dies: Cheery Lynn Designs English Tea Party, Vintage Flourish Pattern
White Pearl Linen cardstock
Stardream Rose Quartz metallic cardstock
Heavyweight Vellum
1/2" Scor-Tape
Empty Spritzer Bottle
Seam Binding - Chalk White
Baby Pearls - LeCreme
Gold detail

To make my card, I stamped, colored and heat embossed images from the NEW stamp set Parisian Postcard from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, that I happened to design (yay!). I stamped some images on the background, some I heat embossed in gold detail on heavyweight vellum and others I fussy cut and mounted using foam tape on a pretty label die cut with Our Daily Bread Designs Vintage Flourish Pattern from White Pearl Linen cardstock. I stenciled the label with Spun Sugar Distress ink.

The top half beige layer was stamped, heat embossed and also sprayed with a mix of Peeled Paint Distress re-inker and water using a spritzer bottle. The bottom half of the base mat was cut from the gorgeous Stardream Rose Quartz metallic cardstock. I cut a doily from vellum with the English Tea Party die from Cheery Lynn Designs, cut it in half and adhered it on top of the pink layer with thin pieces of 1/2" Scor-tape.

Before adding the fussy cut images to the label I attached a piece of Chalk White Seam Binding, that I colored and wrinkled by spraying it with the same Peeled Paint Distress ink mix. I completed the card with a few Baby Pearls Le-Creme that go along very well with the vintage design and spritzed Perfect Pearls Mist in Biscotti and a bit more of Peeled Paint spray. I adhered the finished layer on a white mat cut with A2 Matting Basics, using 1/2" Scor-tape and then mounted it on a white card base.

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic... But, what if we used colorful Holiday colors instead? Why not? Well, this time you'll see me use papers from Simple Stories Very Merry Collection. Video Tutorial This is short and sweet video tutorial where I show you how I put together this card.
