Fall Inspired Card
& quick tutorial with unity stamp co.

Fall might as well be my second favorite papercrafting season. The beautiful range of warm colors is just too irresistible and so today I'm sharing my first Fall card of the year.

I have been having fun lately making cards with stamps from my collection released by Unity Stamp Company. Here are the stamp sets I used to create my card:

Endure

 Enjoy the Ride

On this card I went for a striking clean and layered design with tones such as orange and green that contrast extraordinarily with the white background. I added several different layers and elements and added touches of gold and brown to complete the look of the card.

If you'd like to achieve a similiar look on a card, the main steps to follow are:

1. Die cut branches/leaves from white cardstock and sponge with yellow and orange ink or any other colors desired.
2. Heat emboss leaves' ends in gold.
3. Die cut white layer.*
4. Apply spray ink, stamp corners with old handwriting stamps and adhere pieces of gauze, metallic lace and ribbon to the white layer.
5. Stamp butterfly on vellum, fussy cut and color with alcohol based markers. **
6. Stamp and cut in a banner a sentiment.
7. Adhere leaves, butterfly and sentiment to the white layer.
8. Mount layer to desired card base.

*In my case I also used a die to create a partial pattern cut on the white panel, that allowed me to add a piece of Fall inspired paper underneath for added detail. **Make sure you use the right kind of ink to stamp on vellum... I used a hybrid pigment ink that's permanent once heat set.

I hope you liked today's card! Would love to know what you favorite Fall color combination is! That's all for now! Wish you a creative and inspiring week!

That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic...
