Happy Easter Week! Today I'm sharing an easy to make Easter card. You don't need die cuts to make a card like this unless you want to!
Main Supplies:
Online Printable Egg Template
Haj Designs Digital Patterned Papers
Die Cuts | ODBD - Doily / Cheery Lynn Designs - Mini Butterflies 1 / Spellbinders - Scalloped Borders One
Embellishments | Eyelet Outlet: 12mm Jewel Bling - Clear Edge / May Arts Ribbon: Leaf Ribbon / SU: Linen thread
Finishes | Inks - Colorbox Mix'd Media Inx in Chiffon, Colorbox pigment ink in metallic gold / Dreamweaver Pearlescent Embossing Paste / Shimmerz Spray Sparkle
Miscelaneous | White and beige cardstock, Printer, Gold satin ribbon, beige paper chord, vellum, wide lace, 1" pearlescent lace, sponge dauber, stencil
As you may notice the background of the card is made of ripped borders that I sponged with pink ink and layered together with wide lace. The pretty shabby chic egg started out with a free printable template you can find online for kid's activities. I printed the template on patterned paper several times cutting borders on two of them to create layers for the egg... Easy! I embellished the card with lace, ribbon, jewels, a few decorative die cuts.
Hope you enjoyed this easy but lovely Easter card! You can try out making egg tags using the same technique I used for the card. Best of all is you can resize the free printable to fit any papercrafting project!
