Faux Watercolor Blossoms


Hello! Once again I'm here posting a new little project. I feel inspired this week! This time I have a frame that was created to fit this week's Flourishes and Our Daily Bread challenges.

 I wanted to stamp and color on vellum (with Spectrum Noir markers), and the result was an image with watercolor effect. This is great! So I layered it over a beige paper and framed it with Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles.

The images and sentiment are from Flourishes Cherry Blossom stamp set. This time I colored them in red, because this stamp in particular looks more like a rose, I thought it could work... 

This is a lovely vintage detail to keep on one's desk as a reminder or simply as an inspiration piece. Let me know what you think of it.

Note: If you want to try this, make sure you blend the colors well with the lightest shade marker to get even better results on the faux watercolor effect.

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am.
