Sketch Challenge - Our Daily Bread Designs

New week, new challenge! It's time for a sketch challenge ar Our Daily Bread Designs. I went for a classic clean and layered style using beautiful papers, dies and stamps from ODBD.

Supplies: ODBD Stamps used: How Sweet the Sound / ODBD Dies used: Umbrella dies, Doily Dies, Flourished Star Pattern Die / ODBD Paper: Blushing Rose Collection

I used a light brown cardstock for my card base and layering. The beautiful papers go along well with the light brown tone. I used jute twine, pearls and a brad as finishing touches on the card. I was inspired in the elegant cards created by various teammates but particularly by Lisa Somerville who has such a way with paper. She is really amazing with layering and patterned papers!

I hope you enjoyed this post! To see all the projects created for ODBDSLC238 or to join the challenge click here. You have until May 17, 2015 at 8:00pm EDT to join us. By participating in the challenge, you have a chance to win a $15 ODBD Gift Certificate good towards the purchase of stamps in the “stamps column” on the ODBD website, or to be spotlighted on the ODBD Blog at our next challenge. The random prize winner will be posted on our next challenge post.

Remember to visit my teammates' blogs and check out their cards this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Will be back soon with some exciting news to share!

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic...
