So much inspiration for you! + Our April Giveaway!

That's right! This month is another special month for Graciellie Design. Our shop continues to grow with new stamp collections and our team can't stop creating! So today we bring you more inspiration, project ideas and beautiful stamp sets -available now on our digital shop-.

Before we start, we would like to announce our 2 winners for the month of March! The winner of $20 gift card to our digital shop is Tiffelijah! The winner of a $20 gift card to Paper Temptress is being announced on their blog, so head over there -after you finish our blog hop- to find out if you are the lucky winner.

Today I'm showcasing these bold and elegant roses from our new set -Strong & Courageous-. This new stamp set is one of the most complete sets we've ever had on the shop. It includes 4 sentiments and 4 images. It is actually a pop-up stamp set, meaning that it allows you to decoupage the flowers and leaves if you want to. Although it's digital the stamps come ready to use, you just need to print the base flower and the pop-up flower in the same size and they will fit perfectly! |

I printed the roses on vellum and white cardstock and then foiled them using Silver and Lapis Watercolor Deco Foil. I painted the back of a couple of vellum flowers with a bit of Antique Linen Distress Paint and found out during the process that any acrylic paint works to create the same effect. The color shows through the vellum and gives the flower a totally different look.

Many of you always wonder what to use to adhere vellum and in this case to also give dimension to the pieces... One of my favorite adhesives for transparencies are Zots. They are completely translucent and they also have dimensional zots that are perfect for this technique.

Since the flowers are a statement on their own, I decided to just add a simple frame and splatter some white acrylic paint to complete the card front. The verses included in this stamp set are so inspiring that I had to add them to the card, so they were foiled and adhered to the inside of the notecards.

More ideas and inspiration are ahead. Stop by the blogs listed below to check out how the designers are using our new stamps this month! In addition to that, part of the team will also be featuring Westcott Brand products. We love to fussy cut flowers and other images here at Graciellie Design and Westcott has some of the best precision scissors out there, so we are very excited to be partnering with them this month!

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic... But, what if we used colorful Holiday colors instead? Why not? Well, this time you'll see me use papers from Simple Stories Very Merry Collection. Video Tutorial This is short and sweet video tutorial where I show you how I put together this card. Really with card designing the hard part is figuring out what you want your card to look like in the end but once you have figured out what elements you'll be adding and where you will be placing them the card comes together pretty fast. So the behind the scenes may not ha...
