I have been having fun experimenting with the new Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media Medium... This medium is pure gold and there is so much you can do with it! (It is so versatile!) Well, today I have a tutorial showing you another fun way to use it with the new Gina K. Designs line of Premium Dye Inks, Premium Cardstock, Fancy Foils and Foil Mates Sentiments!

Do leave me a comment letting me know what you think about this technique! You know I love Deco Foil and finding out new ways to apply it is always fun (especially when it doesn't require a laminator)!

Dreaming of a White Christmas
gilded & elegant christmas card

I have a confession to make... This year I've been drawn to make white and gold Christmas cards. I can't even think of traditional Christmas colors when I want to make a project! So today's poinsettia card and tutorial translate very well what Christmas is gonna be like this December at home.

To give the card a soft contrast I used one of the new watercolor Deco Foil, that actually has different tones of lilac and purple allowing the image to really glow and stand out. I colored the back of the vellum with magenta using a Spectrum Noir alcohol marker.

The sentiment was also foiled on whi…
