Butterfly Canvases with Cottonwood Arts

This month Sin City Stamps partnered with Cottonwood Arts. I love CA's canvases and I've enjoyed making projects with them during the last months. Let's take a look at a set of butterfly canvases I presented separately, but that were designed to go together as a set.

I used a stamp set called Love of Butterflies on both projects. It's a plate of rubber you can find on Sin City Stamps store!

There are step by step tutorials available for both canvases. Visit my snapguide page or Sin City Stamps blog to check them out!

Hope you are inspired to get some Cottonwood Arts canvases or journals to try out some mixed media projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Here is our 2016 Christmas Collection.

Our special edition papers are too so lovely! They are a mix of vintage and elegant designs that I know you will enjoy working with. Here are some beautiful projects created by Autumn from Sew Paper Paint using our Christmas papers in even non-holiday cards. (more on her projects here).

All the sets shown above are available individually or as a bundle! Make sure you visit the SHOP today. Bundles may only be available for a limited time, so get them before they're gone!  Find our new Christmas Collection here Find our new Christmas…

I really wanted to create something special for Lee, so I took my time. Here is my design:

I stamped and heat embossed the flowers and two pears in gold. The first are from Flourishes' Over the Garden Gate stamp set, and the last are from Inky Antics' Holy Spirit's Fruit.

I colored the images with alcohol markers. Next I fuzzy cut and sponged them with a little Distress Ink in Peeled Paint.

I also heat embossed a sentiment from Flourishes' Spring Bouquet stamp set. I die cut the sentiment with Spellbinders French Frills set and sponged it very lightly, also with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I embellished the label altering anoth…
