Blessings in a Bottle - Our Daily Bread Designs

This month at Our Daily Bread Designs we are having fun with a wonderful new release! I will be sharing male card ideas throughout the month, not only for Father's Day but for every occasion! This week there's a Color Challenge for your inspiration. Here's what I created:

ODBD stamps used: Good Man, Apothecary Bottles / ODBD dies used: Flourished Star Pattern Die / ODBD paper used: Vintage Ephemera Collection

I used three different sheets from the new vintage papers. The labels I added to the stamped bottles were cut from one of the sheets. I like how the papers coordinate, and I also like how well they look on male cards. I colored the bottles with alcohol markers and added a few embellishments to finish the design.

I have a close-up video for June's release that I'm adding below. I invite you to check it out. I'm sharing other ODBD products on the video also!

To see all the projects created for ODBDSLC241 or to join the challenge click here. You have until June 7, 2015 at 8:00pm EDT to join us. By participating in the challenge, you have a chance to win a $15 ODBD Gift Certificate good towards the purchase of stamps in the “stamps column” on the ODBD website, or to be spotlighted on the ODBD Blog at our next challenge. The random prize winner will be posted on our next challenge post.

Also, please check out what my teammates created for the challenge:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back soon with new projects to share. Don't forget to check out my Birthday Giveaway HERE. ODBD is sponsoring a prize!

Great job on this guy card...it's hard for us girls who like flowers and lace to make guy cards isn't it? I find it hard anyway! This looks fantastic!

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic... But, what if we used colorful Holiday colors instead? Why not? Well, this time you'll see me use papers from Simple Stories Very Merry Collection. Video Tutorial This is short and sweet video tutorial where I show you how I put together this card. Really with card designing the hard part is figuring out what you want your card to look like in the end but once you have figured out what elements you'll be adding and where you will be placing them the card comes together pretty fast.
