Do you love ribbon? I do, and I find that ribbon, thread, lace and other gorgeous elements of the sort belong with papercrafting like perfect soulmates! Today I want to invite you to take a look back with me to a few of the projects I've shared. May Arts Ribbon will be joining us too. (Please feel at home!)
Down Shabby Chic Lane
I took a memorable trip down shabby chic lane to make this card and with shabby chic there are never enough layers. Yes, I went over the top with elements and textures, but I was pure joy when I finished putting this card together. I wanted to pick the blue hues from one the patterned papers of my collection, and the rest just flowed naturally. This design has quite a few mixed media touches too.

Lilac Dreams
For this card I was inspired by a sketch and the handmade flowers themselves. The colors I used for the flowers felt so fresh and pretty, I thought a clean design was perfect for them so I decided to add jute twine. The contrast with the brown looks so nice!
Lace, Ribbon & Thread
I used all three textures to add a lot of detail to this feminine and delicate card. Using a combination of colors that doesn't cease to fascinate me, I went for a design that made me think of Cinderella and Spring at once. Here is an updated tutorial guide that I hope you find useful.
Gracie, I love the layers, the textures and the scrumptious flowers in these designs. Thanks for showing some of your techniques.
