Add a Little Dazzle and Stampendous - Blog Hop Day #4

Welcome to Day 4 of the amazing partnership blog hop between Add a Little Dazzle and Stampendous. Chance to win prizes and lots of projects to be inspired by, what else can one ask for? I am having fun sharing with you the projects I created using Stampendous Snowflake Die Set – DCS5069, Cling Delicate Snow – CRS5069. And for today's project I'm combining these sets with Add a Little Dazzle's Wondrous White metal sheet, and Golden Glimmer metal sheet.

My project for today is a place setting in white and gold, perfect to decorate your Christmas table.

The place setting consists of a cutlery holder and a place card. The cutlery holder is made of white cardstock and has an open pocket to place a napkin and a cutlery set for one. I dry embossed the pocket and decorated it with two heat embossed snowflakes. The large gold snowflake was heat embossed in white and the medium white snowflake was heat embossed in gold. Both were die cut afterwards using the matching die set.

The place card is made using a partial die cutting technique with the help of Snowflake Die Set – DCS5069 I basically placed the large snowflake die on the edge of a 5"x 4 1/2" piece of cardstock and ran it through a die cutting machine making sure I only cut half the snowflake on the front. Then I ran it again through the die cutting machine on the other side making sure I only cut a fourth of the snowflake on the back. Right where the fourth part of the snowflake cut ends I scored and folded. I decorated the place card the same way I did with the cuttery holder.

I hope you liked my project, that you find it inspiring, and that you find it interesting to try out. I have one more project for you tomorrow, and it's a complementary project to these two I just showed you, so don't forget to stop by!

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic...
