A Look Back to ODBD's December Release!

Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs December Release! This is such a versatile and beautiful release. I've had so much fun using the stamps and the gorgeous dies. In this occasion I made a card with a delicate vintage look and lots of dimension

Supplies
GILDED GATE DIES
MINI TAG DIES
VINTAGE FLOURISH PATTERN DIES
THE GATE Stamp Set
ADMIT THREE (Clear Stamps)
CHRISTMAS COLLECTION 2014 6x6 PAPER PAD

To make my card I started off by die cutting my card base using the Vintage Flourish Pattern die. Then I adhered two labels on the center, from the same set, a polka dot patterned label and a smaller label where I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from The Gate stamp set. I stenciled the sentiment label with two different inks too.

I stamped and heat embossed in white three tickets from Admit Three and the gate from The Gate stamp set and then die cut all the stamped images with their coordinating dies from the Mini Tags and the Gilded Gate die sets. Next I sponged the elements the same way I stenciled the middle label.

I added a piece aquamarine ribbon on the bottom of the card and mounted the three stamped and die cut tickets below it, creating a border. Then I also mounted the gate die cut to frame the main sentiment label. To finish the design I added a pretty bow and a couple of crystal stickers.

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic... But, what if we used colorful Holiday colors instead? Why not? Well, this time you'll see me use papers from Simple Stories Very Merry Collection. Video Tutorial This is short and sweet video tutorial where I show you how I put together this card.
