Double Blessing

Today I wasn't planning to make a card, but inspiration strucked when I stopped by Our Daily Bread Designs blog. They have a sketch challenge going on...

I sadly don't own any ODBD stamps but we are allowed to participate with one card anyways. I chose a spanish sentiment from My Pink Stamper, that translated says: "When I count my blessings, I double count you". I used Haj Design paper for these flowers, which I die cut with the Spellbinders' sets Rose Creations, Bitty Blossoms and Carnation Creations. Also from the same company I used Gold Elements One to make the flourishes and Gold Labels Four, for the window and the frame. This time I used ribbon over lace and some crystals to finish the card. And this is what I came up with:

I really hope this card is good enough for the challenge. Let me know what you think :)

Until next time... Have a great weekend!

Add-on:

I consider this a fraternal love card, one that you can give to a sister on Valentine's (hope she doesn't find out!). And I wish to submit it to other challenges:

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic... But, what if we used colorful Holiday colors instead? Why not? Well, this time you'll see me use papers from Simple Stories Very Merry Collection. Video Tutorial This is short and sweet video tutorial where I show you how I put together this card.
