Hello. I want to share a card I made inspired on Justrite's Challenge
and that will fit nicely in some of my other favorite challenges. It's a
card using a chalkboard sentiment, in monochromatic style, but still
very feminine.
Materials
Spellbinders: Majestic Labels Twenty-Five, Fancy Lattice, Damask Motifs, A2 Filigree, Grand Calibur die cutting machine
Justrite Stamps - Ooh La La French Frills
Heidi Grace paper - Celebration
Colorbox pigment ink in Frost White
Inkadinkado embossing powder in Linen White
Zap! heat tool
Merletto pearls and crystals
Adhesives: Elmer's Glue All, Bazic two sided tape and foam tape
Other generic materials
Bond paper in black and gray
Eggshell cardstock in white
1" satin ribbon in white
2" one sided lace in white
This 6 3/8" x 4 3/8" monochromatic card is framed and layered twice, first with patterned paper and then with paper lattice. It is wrapped in ribbon like a gift and embellished with pearls, crystals and lace. The chalkboard birthday phrase was put together using 4 sentiments and a flourish from the same Justrite stamp set. It was stamped in white pigment ink that was then heat embossed in white.
I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by!

DeleteThis card is stunning on so many levels! I'm a color-holic, so I always admire how artists like you can create something so visually amazing with a monochromatic palette. I really love the grace of this card even though the palette is black and white. The lace adds a beautiful touch and you did a masterful job of making the white sentiments pop. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
