Hello there! It's Gracie posting today and I'm glad to have the chance to share with you another card I designed using the beautiful and versatile products carried by Classy Cards 'n Such store. I created a shabby chic card with lots and lots of layers and elements. I started off die cutting two labels with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty Five. You can also get the same result using the classic Labels Twenty-Five , available at the store. I die cut one label from pink cardstock and another one from a digital floral patterned paper I designed, and that I printed on White Pearl Linen . The patterned label was also cut with a Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One, but I suggest you check out A2 Curved Borders One , which would work nicely too. I mounted the patterned piece on top of the pink label, aligning them perfectly. I added a piece of pink ribbon approximately across the middle of the layered label, vertically, hiding the ends behind the patterned piece...

It's time to share a new card for this week's challenge at Classy Cards 'n Such: Candy Cane Christmas. We were challenged to make a Christmas project in red and white, and a touch of green! What a perfect, and contrasting color combination for the Holidays. The candy cane inspiration translates to my card through the die cut frame's border. I cut the frame with Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor to which I also die cut an inner window with A2 Matting Basics .  I like to layer dies from different sets a lot, to achieve new results every time, and I did just that. I die cut a label from the silver back of a Delicate Pastels Craft Foil by Spellbinders with Spellbinders Decorative Labels Thirty-Four. I die cut two coordinating labels from red and white cardstock using Fancy Label Tags Two. I heat embossed a sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy Vintage Seed Packet stamp set , in Silver detail on the white label. I also die cut some Christmas elements to decorate the lab...

Hello, and welcome to my post for this month's challenge at House of Cards: Use a Punch and/or Die. It's time for us, the Vintage & Shabby team, to share our cards! I created a vintage card using some beautiful dies. I also worked with a color combination I haven't used in a while: peach, beige and green. The floral paper is the soul of this card. I actually used a digital paper I designed called Floral Frames 5 , printed on linen cardstock. I love how the vintage florals look! I layered three different labels on the side of the card and cut the edges remainding outside the card base. I embellished the card with 3/8" cream gross grain ribbon, pearls, crystals and a gold vintage button. Today I am sharing a card I made with some gorgeous products from Classy Cards 'n Such . It's an autumnal watercolored card, with a wonderful verse embossed on vellum. Watercoloring is very relaxing. I had not made a watercolored card in a while so I enjoyed making this card a lot! I started off by heat embossing in white some pears from Inky Antics' Holy Spirit's Fruit stamp set. I stamped the images trying to create an opened frame. Then I painted the pears with Faber Castell watercolor pencils. I usually don't color directly on the image, instead I color on a scrap piece of paper, and just pick up the colors with a wet brush, that way I don't leave pencil traces on my final image. I used various tones of greens and browns to achieve these shades. Once done, I went ahead and die cut the colored piece of cardstock with Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A . Hello and welcome to a new post for Sin City Stamps ! This month Sin City Stamps has partnered with Gelli Arts ! What a great combination of products! I've had a great time creating personalized backgrounds with Gelli Arts' Gel Plate, and adding details with SCS stamps. It's almost therapeutic the way the projects come together, and how we have no precise control of the resulting background using the Gel Plate (a truly spontaneous artistic process).
