Today I also have a new fun and really easy technique using digital stamps, that gives a black and white image a splash of color and a watercolor effect that only takes a minute to create! All these cards were made using new stamp sets from our March release: Dear Friend, Dream , and Patience . All three sets include gorgeous floral images that can be customized, so I resized them and printed them at around 10 cm. wide on white cardstock and cut each image to fit an A2 card. Next I sprayed each piece with ink sprays, layering at least two different colors. Tip : I used a regular inkjet printer for these cards so I used a heat gun to dry t...

I'm starting to feel less and less christmas-y and that means you'll start seeing a lot of floral inspiration on the blog. I experimented with a new dye ink and stretched it to the most not knowing how much it's versatility would surprise me in the end. I'm talking about Umbrella Crafts Premium Dye Inks . I was able to stamp, blend, watercolor and even heat emboss (yes, that's right, emboss) with these inks. On my second card I used layered stamping with one of Umbrella Crafts Trio Premium Dye Ink Sets and to my own surprise I also heat embossed the stamped flowers in gold using black dye ink (my new favorite)! handmade card with unity stamp co.

Our family is starting a new stage, with my son entering kintergarden. With it comes a new routine that each of us needs to adapt to. I am spending much more time taking care of my loved ones and in consequence I haven't been around here much. Still I do take advantage of the few moments I have available to create a few things! Today I'm sharing a card with lots and lots of layers and delicate embellishments. The layers on this 5" by 7" card were cut from metallic, linen and leather textured cardstock. The inspiring verse stamp is from my new set Praise the Lord by Unity Stamp Company ( check it out here ). This verse has inspired me since I was very young, and I'm glad to have the chance to inspire others stamping it on a card. I also used one of the lovely patterned papers from my Keys & Roses digital set. I will be updating my digital shop here on the blog soon! Hope you enjoyed today's post! I would love to hear about you and your late...
