Vintage Tag - Sin City Stamps

Good day everyone! This weekend my blog has been jam packed with posts and projects, which is great. This time I'm here to show you a project and a step by step tutorial I made for Sin City Stamps.

Sin City Stamps designs, presses and packages deep etched art rubber stamps. Their stamps are beautifully designed in vintage style. They also carry stencils, chipboard elements, die cuts and much more.

For today I created a vintage tag from scratch, using basically stamps and inks:

Materials
Stamps - Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps: Vintage Postcard. Flourishes: Spring Bouquet. Docrafts: Happy Days (Ticket Stubs). Bo Bunny: It Is Written.

Inks - Ranger: Distress inks in Worn Lipstick, Old Paper, Vintage photo; Embossing ink. Brilliance: Pearlescent Beige. Memento: Rich Cocoa, Angel Pink.
Markers - Spectrum Noir: PP3, PP5, PL1, PL2, BP2, LV1, EB1
Embossing powders - Inkadinkado: Glam Gold, Pearlescent.
Zap! heat tool
Merletto Crystals
Bazic foam tape
Other generic materials
Feuille textured cardstock in sand beige
1/4" gold edged satin ribbon in old gold
Fused string pearl beads in golden ivory

Everything on this tag was stamped, from the background to the tickets. To see how I made it, all you need to do is click on the "Start the Guide" button below.

I'd like to point out that I like to cut my tags this size so I can also use them to embellish A2 cards, just as I did here:

I hope you enjoyed my project, and that you found the tutorial useful. Stay tuned for today's next post. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  9. Gracie,
Love the tag, great colors. Love how you masked and layered your stamps giving the tag a great vintage look. The gold embossing and the ribbon are the perfect accent to make it "pop." Great job.
