XL Double Blessing Card

Hello everyone! I have another post for you today, a very brief one. I want to show you a remake of a card that has been a favorite both here and on my facebook page, the Double Blessing card. Someone asked me to make it extra large for his mom's birthday, and so I did. It is quite elegant and for what I see it kept it's charm. The sentiments are in spanish and translated it says: "When I count my blessings, I double count you" and "Happy Birthday" in the inside of the card.

That is quite it! Hope you like it, I know my client did. Still need and update on the recipient! :D

Dreaming of a White Christmas
gilded & elegant christmas card

I have a confession to make... This year I've been drawn to make white and gold Christmas cards. I can't even think of traditional Christmas colors when I want to make a project! So today's poinsettia card and tutorial translate very well what Christmas is gonna be like this December at home. White and gold look so elegant together! Since the holidays are all about sparkle too, I used one of my favorite glitter techniques and I'm sharing a quick and easy tutorial with you HERE . I created the background myself, layering snowflake stamps in different designs, first in a very light beige, then in gold embossing. As for the very layered and beautiful center of the card, I started out with an intricate die cut (see tutorial  HERE ) and continued building layers, with large snowflake die cuts and finally with a large h

Video Tutorial: Quick New Year's Card with Simple Stories & Deco Foil

I'm back with a fun and really easy to make card for the Holidays or the New Year and I have a video tutorial with Therm O Web today. I'm sure we all are rushing at the very last minute looking for tags and cards and wrapping gifts... I know I always am. That is why my latest Holiday projects have been on the quick and easy side so you can try them out if you need to! The usual theme for New Year's cards is usually monochromatic, metallic... Really with card designing the hard part is figuring out what you want your card to look like in the end but once you have figured out what elements you'll be adding and where you will be placing them the card comes together pretty fast. So the behind the scenes may not ha
